SAN FRANCISCO -- Visage Mobile, the first company to offer a comprehensive outsourced MVNO platform, announced today it has closed $22.8 million in Series C funding, increasing its total capital raised to more than $50 million. Worldview Technology Partners was the lead investor. All other Series B investors participated in this round as well.

Visage Mobile is a pioneer in developing the market category of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), private branded wireless communications providers. Drawing on a management team with deep wireless industry experience, Visage has developed an MVNO platform that can be configured to meet differing needs, is scalable and meets the highest industry standards for performance and reliability.

"Visage Mobile has the right product at the right time - just as the MVNO market is poised to jump-start the next growth spurt in wireless communications," said Tim Weingarten, partner, Worldview Technology Partners. "With three years of rigorous development behind it, Visage has the platform and services to fundamentally alter how quickly and cost effectively MVNOs come to market."

Matt Johnson, CEO of Visage Mobile, said the additional funding would allow Visage to expand operations and support the development and launch of additional MVNOs prior to the end of the year. He noted that Visage has reduced the cost and complexity for companies looking to launch MVNOs, while ensuring they can offer a truly differentiated service built on a carrier-grade platform.
