SeaChange names George Kajos general manager of platform business unit

ACTON, Mass. -- SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, has appointed video and software engineering veteran George Kajos as General Manager for its Platform business unit. Kajos, reporting to SeaChange Chief Executive Officer Raghu Rau, heads the product development organization that produces the SeaChange Adrenalin™ video platform, the SeaChange Nitro™ subscriber experience and other multi-screen software products chosen by video service providers worldwide.

Kajos brings SeaChange more than 30 years’ experience in video streaming, video conferencing and networking, including the management of large and small engineering groups that have designed and delivered advanced products for cable, telecommunications and enterprise customers worldwide. He was director of engineering for Motorola video-on-demand products since 2006. Beginning in 2002, he was vice president of engineering and then vice president of advanced engineering for video-on-demand technology provider Broadbus Technologies, a Motorola acquisition. Previously, he was co-founder and vice president of software engineering for Gotham Networks and also held senior engineering positions at VideoServer, Inc., SynOptics Communications, Prime Computer and BBN Communications.
