Metromedia to Deploy Juniper Routers

NEW YORK -- Metromedia Fiber Network Inc. (MFN) (Nasdaq:MFNX) and Juniper Network Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) have announced the purchase and deployment of 170 Juniper Networks M160 Internet backbone routers by MFN. MFN is presently deploying the M160(TM) routers throughout its worldwide optical IP network, including all Internet Service Exchange (ISX) facilities, as part of a global OC-192c (10 gigabits/second) backbone network deployment.
