CHICAGO -- Global Capacity, the leading connectivity as a service company, announces the availability of its high-performance, cost-effective Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Virtual Private Network (VPN) service over the One Marketplace™ backbone. The Company’s increased national presence expands the availability of its feature- rich MPLS solution to better serve wholesale customers with connectivity to over 9.6 million business addresses.

The integrated One Marketplace core network now leverages 41 Points of Presence (PoPs), 86 local aggregation PoPs, 2,007 Central Offices (COs) and over 4,513 last-mile network interconnections to deliver coverage to 98% of the US business market and widespread availability of a fully managed MPLS VPN service. Leveraging the One Marketplace state of interconnectedness, Global Capacity MPLS VPNs are delivered over a range of access technology – Ethernet, T1 and DSL - in order to support the broadest range of bandwidths and performance levels.

Global Capacity’s MPLS VPN service provides private and secure networking for fast and safe communications between multiple locations, as well as the scalability required to adjust as business needs change with incremental bandwidth options ranging from 1Mbps to 1Gbps. The service further accommodates customer needs with five Quality of Service (QoS) levels to ensure high-quality voice, video and cloud communications. By supporting multiple VPN services over the same access connection, enterprise businesses can simplify complex virtual network environments.
