Sprint Suffers Outage in North-East US Monday

Sprint's mobile network suffered a voice and data outage in the most densely populated part of US on Monday, driving customers to Twitter for answers.

The outage lasted for a good part of the East Coast workday in the US on Monday. Sprint customer care (@SprintCare) tweeted at 9:52 a.m. Monday morning:

Sprint tweeted that the "voice and LTE issues" had been fixed at 3:55 p.m. ET:

The North-East is the most densely populated area of the US with a total population of nearly 56 million people. Hence the subscriber interest in the voice and data outage.

Sprint has not been having a great few days for network issues. On March 25, Sprint customer care tweeted about an "issue" impacting SMS text messaging.
