Without DevOps ?
Nice concept, Here is my take on this.

This would work with the current networks and current services. The moment you start thinking about flexibility and service agility in the virtual world, some sort of DevOps would still be needed. This product would give a nice transition between the physical and mixed environment.

Dont get be wrong. The product has unique selling points and is a market differentiator in terms of modeling services quickly and that too through a graphical user interface. This gives a world of convenience to SPs.Would it eliminate the need for DevOps today, perhaps yes. But, would it eliminate it for a predominant virtual world, I doubt. Because the moment you start thinking about full flexibility in virtual services, the concept of sticking to the current static services like L3VPN, L2 VPN go away and replaced with new , innovative and agile services that would need some sort of progamming if not a lot.

Live Digital Audio

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
