AirWalk Launches CDMA450 Kit

RICHARDSON, Texas -- AirWalk Communications, an IP Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) developerfor CDMA wireless voice and data networks, has announced its CDMA 450MHz AW-Series IP-RAN line ofproducts.

CDMA450 advantages are derived from the spectral efficiency and the expanded coverage afforded by a lowerfrequency band. By providing a larger cell size compared to cells in other bands CDMA450 offers a lower costper subscriber solution to both emerging market operators and existing operators. This efficiency directlytranslates to fewer cell sites and significantly lowers initial investment to service vast coverage areas.
