PicoPoint, Colubris Do WiFi

AMSTERDAM -- PicoPoint today announced a relationship with Colubris Networks Inc., a global provider of 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless networking solutions for operators of large carrier HotSpot and enterprise networks. PicoPoint will offer carrier-class Public Wireless LAN (PWLAN) solutions that are based on Colubris Networks' access devices. The new integrated solution enables operators to immediately offer scaleable HotSpot services based on proven technology and back-office functionalities, allowing these operators to focus on the front-end of the business: sales, marketing and support of Wi-Fi HotSpot services.

Colubris Networks' CN3000 line of PWLAN solutions incorporates access point and access control features into one tightly integrated and cost-effective solution. In combination with GateKeeper, PicoPoint's back-office solution, operators can cost-effectively deploy a network of HotSpots.
