Telefónica UK Manages M2M With Jasper

LONDON -- Telefonica UK, which operates the O2 brand, today announces that it has partnered with Jasper Wireless to deploy a new market leading platform for the management of machine-to-machine (M2M) connections. The cloud-based management platform will enable Telefonica UK customers to roll out connected devices quickly and efficiently, manage them in real time and deliver global support. The platform is already operational and is currently being rolled in a number of projects.

Jasper Wireless’ Control Centre is a unique software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides customers with global visibility of all SIMs connected to the mobile network. It allows customers to quickly distribute connected devices with robust self-service tools for provisioning, real-time diagnostics and usage controls. It provides powerful intelligence with a live view of how devices are connecting to and using the mobile network. Through automating operational processes it allows companies to streamline activities, reduce total cost of ownership and provide excellent customer support.
