Icontrol Adds Honeywell, LG & More to Ecosystem

The smart home platform provider is bulking up on its integrations.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Today Icontrol Networks, the company behind the most widely-distributed interactive security and home automation platform in the industry, announced that Honeywell, LG Electronics, SkyBell, Vinli, Bttn, and Earth Networks’ WeatherBug have joined the Icontrol Developer Program. This global program enables compatibility between any cloud-based, ZigBee, Wi-Fi or Z-Wave device and Icontrol-powered solutions, which represent the largest connected home customer base in North America.

The Icontrol Developer Program was launched five years ago and currently has more than 50 participating companies and 100 certified devices. Icontrol recently announced the ability to integrate any cloud-based device into its program, greatly increasing the range of solutions Icontrol-based service providers can offer customers. The new program members join Accuweather, Nest and Rachio in integrating their cloud-based devices and services.

New smart home devices utilizing the Developer Program’s cloud integration features include:

  • bttn Wi-Fi Smart Button

    • WeatherBug Weather Forecasts and Energy Info

    • Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostats (six models)

    • LG Electronics Smart Fridge, Washer, Dryer, and Stove

    • SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera

    • Vinli Connected Car Device and Platform

    • Icontrol Networks Inc.
