Yahoo! Brasil boosts network reliability and performance with Juniper Networks M-Series

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR - News) today announced that Yahoo! Brasil, one of South America's largest Internet portals, has deployed its M-series platform to increase the performance, reliability and security of the network. This project, developed in partnership with the system integrator M13, is improving the navigation experience of all Brazilian Yahoo! users.

"The M-series platform is the foundation of our long-term strategy to transition to a value-added services model," said Daniel Carvalho, marketing manager at Yahoo! "In addition to increasing network performance, competitive pricing and one-day implementation, the M-series platform provides the security and scalability features that elevate us to the next level."

The M-series platforms are designed to offer secure, scalable and highly reliable IP services in high-speed networks. The platform reduces time to market for new IP services by lowering capital costs, simplifying operational support, as well as streamlining design, testing and network implementation processes.
