Xspedius Communications LLC secures $20 million credit facility; Xspedius migration to MPLS on track for 3Q completion

O'FALLON, Mo. -- Xspedius Communications, LLC, today announced that it has secured a $20 million dollar credit facility from LaSalle Business Credit LLC.

The credit facility will provide flexibility to Xspedius Communications as the company pursues its business objectives. Over the past 24 months, Xspedius has demonstrated impressive operational results. With this agreement, Xspedius Communications and LaSalle Business Credit LLC, an affiliate of LaSalle National Bank of Chicago, have established a financial resource to capitalize on technology and growth opportunities.

O'FALLON, Mo. -- On the verge of an enhanced level of network efficiency and speed, Xspedius Communications, LLC, announced today that its deployment of MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) technology is on schedule for completion by the third quarter of 2004. The implementation consists of the migration of the Xspedius data backbone from an ATM core to an MPLS core supported by Juniper Network’s M20 routers.
