RESTON, Va. -- XO Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:XOXO), one of the world's fastest growing providers of broadband communications services, today announced it has signed a three-year service contract worth more than $10 million with MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS), a leading provider of program management, information technology, and consulting services to state and local government. Under the contract, XO will provide local and long distance communications services in each of MAXIMUS' 200+ U.S. locations over a three-year period. The service agreement also allows MAXIMUS to expand the business relationship to include other XO nationwide communications services as needed. Additionally, because XO utilizes a seamless nationwide billing platform, MAXIMUS will be provided with one monthly invoice for all locations where XO is providing service. "MAXIMUS was looking for one company that could help them consolidate local and long distance voice communications services previously provided by several different companies," said Nate Davis, President and Chief Operating Officer of XO Communications. "With XO's nationwide presence across 62 U.S. markets, companies with multi-locations such as MAXIMUS with national communications needs can rely on XO as a single, reliable source that can provide the necessary geographic coverage and a full suite of integrated voice and data business services."XO Communications Inc.
