February 18, 2005
PARIS -- Inventel, specialist in wireless solutions for voice and data communications over fixed networks, will showcase their new residential gateway. Inventel's current residential gateway allows service providers to offer their users triple play, including Internet access, VoIP, and TV over ADSL.
At CeBIT, Inventel, market leader of wireless triple play broadband gateways in Europe, will release their new residential gateway. Through one ADSL modem router, Inventel's residential gateway will centralise wireless communication, allowing users to access Internet and video, voice and data, music streaming, photo development, through broadband, Bluetooth, WiFi, and DECT technology.
The residential gateway, like all Inventel solutions, was designed to meet operators technology, service, and support requirements while satisfying the needs of the end user. A user-friendly interface manages the modem, while updates can be downloaded directly from the internet. The operator is able to deploy and offer new services on broadband networks without using a PC.
Inventel's residential gateway combines integrated WiFi and Bluetooth connections while supporting DECT, UMA, CTP, SIP, MGCP and other protocols.
