LONDON -- BT Italy – on of the leading providers of communication services and solutions for corporates and the public administration – and AriaDSL – the operator which, in the recent tender called for by the Ministry of Communications, obtained WiMax licences to cover the entire Italian territory – signed a collaboration agreement for the development and implementation of WiMax technology and services on our territory.

In particular, BT will use AriaDSL’s wireless services to enrich its offering of ICT solutions for corporates through e.g. point to point data services, while AriaDSL will acquire from BT the services and expertise required to rapidly develop its network and customer offering.

Thanks to this agreement, we will be able to provide our services to corporate customers on the national territory in an even more widespread manner, and to take advantage of a new national wireless broadband transmission network.”
