New agreement enables the companies to jointly deliver comprehensive operations support system (OSS) solutions to global service providers

BANGALORE, India and PLANO, Texas -- Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT), and MetaSolv Software, Inc., a global leader in communications management solutions for next-generation and traditional networks and services, today announced a strategic alliance and reseller agreement. The new agreement enables the two companies to jointly deliver comprehensive operations support system (OSS) solutions to global service providers. The alliance joins Wipro's capabilities as a global telecom-focused Systems Integrator with MetaSolv's proven service fulfillment product portfolio, and considerable experience with many of the world's largest fixed and mobile communications service providers.   • Multi-Service Activation -- an extensive and intelligent activation solution that provisions, configures, and activates an array of voice and data services independent of underlying network technology.

  • Network Resource Management -- a comprehensive suite enabling accurate and efficient management of a variety of network and service resources. Core capabilities include the ability to manage network engineering and build, physical and logical inventory management.

Wipro and MetaSolv previously have worked together on customer engagements in India and Europe, and currently are engaged in multiple projects across Europe, Asia, and North America.
