    WHERE: WiFi Alliance Member Meeting

Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel Vancouver, BC Canada WHY: According to research conducted in April 2006, 54 percent of U.S. consumers are aware of the WiFi CERTIFIED logos and look to this as an indicator of product interoperability, reliability and security. WiFi Alliance’s 250+ members have helped fuel this awareness with the inclusion of WiFi signage in marketing and packaging materials – illustrating that independent third party certification can contribute to overall purchasing decisions.
