FREMONT, Calif. -- Quantenna Communications, Inc., a leading developer of 802.11n silicon for streaming and distributing high-definition (HD) video throughout the home, today announced it will be demonstrating its Full-11n 4x4 MIMO 802.11n chipsets at the IP&TV World Forum (Stand #MR9), March 22 through March 24, 2011, in London.

Quantenna is one of only three finalists in the conference's IP&TV Award competition for best enabling silicon, IP or component technologies, and the only finalist with whole home connectivity. Quantennass chipset was the first to deliver multiple full HD video to any display, anywhere throughout the home, with carrier-grade reliability. Now, the company is winning major service providers that fuel the convergence of TV and the Web as titans like Google, Apple and Microsoft drive the convergence of entertainment and the Internet.

Quantenna's HD Video-over-Wi-Fi services with wire-like quality and reliability using 4x4 MIMO 802.11n will be demonstrated in Meeting Room (MR) 9 at the Olympia Exhibition Centre, throughout the show.

"The IP&TV World Forum is an ideal venue for demonstrating the carrier-grade coverage and reliability of our award-winning 4x4 MIMO 802.11n chipset," said Dr. Sam Heidari, Interim Chief Executive Officer for Quantenna. "The world is moving to next-generation, multi-platform TVs, and we're helping to pave the way by delivering an ultra-reliable, high-performance Wi-Fi connection that is critical for deploying converged broadcast and Internet-based entertainment services."
