PHILADELPHIA -- Comcast today announced that it is offering complimentary access to thousands of Xfinity WiFi outdoor and indoor hotspots during the duration of the Summer Games which begins on July 27th and runs through August 12th. This will allow both Xfinity Internet customers and non-customers the opportunity to watch all the action live from their mobile devices at NBCOlympics.com when the world's best athletes come together to compete at the 2012 London Games. To access Xfinity WiFi, Xfinity Internet customers and non-customers should look for "xfinitywifi" on their wireless device and follow the prompts to begin their WiFi session.
"This is an exciting time of year and we're pleased to offer anyone who has a wireless device in this region, complimentary access to Xfinity WiFi hotspots so they can catch their favorite athletes and sports even if they're on the go," said Sean Brushett, vice president of sales and marketing for Comcast's Freedom Region. "Comcast offers the nation's fastest Internet speeds and we've added thousands of Xfinity WiFi hotspots in Philadelphia and beyond so people can enjoy a fast wireless Internet experience outside the home, whether they're watching live Olympics coverage at NBCOlympics.com, working, streaming TV shows and movies, posting photos, playing online games or chatting with friends."
