ACTE will distribute West Bay products in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States, and Russia

VANCOUVER -- West Bay Semiconductor Inc. today announced that it has signed a sales and distribution agreement with ACTE Components, a group of companies owned by the Lagercrantz Group AB, of Sweden. ACTE will distribute West Bay Semiconductor products in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. As part of the agreement, ACTE will also cover Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States and Russia. The agreement strengthens West Bay's ability to market its products in several key European markets, and enables it to provide customers in these markets with efficient and responsive pre-sales and post-sales support. "Europe is a very important market for West Bay. Our products not only incorporate full North American SONET functionality but they are also full-featured SDH devices with unique SDH-based features that make them compelling solutions in Europe and Asia," says Tze-Wo Leung, Director of Sales for West Bay Semiconductor.
