In this webinar, we will present and discuss the results of Heavy Reading's Q1 2021 Global Carrier vRAN Survey. The survey investigates how (and when) service providers are implementing RAN virtualization – the drivers and the inhibitors. It also examines how closely vRAN implementation is tied to 5G rollout as well as multi-access edge computing (MEC), open standards and the move from virtual machines to containers. Our presenters will discuss how vRAN fits into the overall move to virtualization by the carriers, where they are encountering challenges and where they see an opportunity for differentiation.
Join us for a lively discussion about the current and future state of vRAN.
