James leads Heavy Reading's OSS/BSS research service. He examines the breadth of software used by communications service providers in customer, business, service and infrastructure management. James's areas of focus include BSS, OSS, SDP, policy management, revenue assurance, service assurance, analytics and business intelligence. He is particularly interested in the impact of SDN and NFV on operator's IT systems.
Prior to joining Heavy Reading, James worked for more than 15 years as an analyst covering technology and telecom companies for various investment banks and industry research firms. He previously worked as a management consultant in industry.
James holds a BSc and MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester, England.
J.J. is Vice President of Architecture for Salesforce Industries and the former CTO of Vlocity where he led the technology and architecture design of Vlocity's industry-specific, digital and omnichannel cloud and mobile software. J.J. has spent 30 years in technology leadership roles in companies including Siebel Systems, Oracle, Vlocity and Salesforce designing and building customer engagement software for the world's largest organizations. He is a world-class data architect and a recognized thought leader on wide-ranging architectural topics such as microservice architectures and APIs.
Marc is recognized by the telco industry for his expertise in technologies such as the 5G packet core, cloud-native containers and microservices, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networks (SDN), 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless, and theIP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), as foundational real-time architectures for operators deploying next generation services. Prior to joining MATRIXX, he worked for Openet as CTO for the Americas where he led initiatives for software development, systems consulting and business development. Before joining Openet, Marc was the lead software architect for a market-leading convergent real-time rating and billing system for service providers. He has worked in various project management, product development, and senior consulting roles.
As SVP & GM of Emerging Business, Ani and his team will leverage Mavenir’s existing and newly created solutions for 5G, IoT and digital transformation to generate new business opportunities for Mavenir in Enterprises and Industries. Offerings will include Enriched Communication, IoT and Private Networks, delivered with new business models, via a digital ecosystem of partners and channels.
Ani holds an MBA in International Business and a BE in Electronics and Communications and brings to the role over 20 years of experience in the ICT sector working for a number of multinationals and Fortune 500 companies. He has held roles spanning Sales, Business Development, Strategy, Commercial Management, Product Management, Portfolio Management, Operations, and R&D. Most recently he held the role of VP & Head of Strategy & Commercial Management for Business Area Digital Services at Ericsson.
