China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom have recently confirmed the imminent launch of 5G. In fact, Chinese operators are still expanding their 4G (5G NSA) networks, but these new virtual vEPCs need to run on the same cloud platform as 5G SA core. Obviously, China's 5G focus has generally turned to SA. ZTE is deeply involved in the construction of these SA networks and the upgrading of 4G network with its end-to-end SA solution which enables several new features, including network slicing and automation, Multi-Access Edge Computing, and Time-Sensitive Network. At present, Chinese operators are transforming these technical successes into financial ones. This webinar will also explore the various use cases that China has been deploying with 5G SA.

Key topics include:

  • The importance of Chinese mobile operators in the global context
  • Overall industry appetite for 5GSA
  • Benefits of 5G SA in practice: what for?
  • 5G SA in China, from plan to implementation
