Will is a senior analyst focused on telecommunications infrastructure, carrier services, and enterprise networking. He has spent his diverse career in product management, product and channel marketing, business development, sales and strategic alliances managing wireless programs with AT&T and Telus. A risk-taking executive that has built businesses and participated in several start-ups, Will brings over 25 years of experience from technology leaders Dell, Compaq, and Hewlett-Packard among others to Moor Insights & Strategy. Will earned a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Texas State University.
Kurt has over 20 years of emerging communication technology development and system deployment experience. For JMA he leads solution and ecosystem development activities for mobile connectivity in the enterprise, industrial, government and large venue markets. He is an active contributor to numerous industry technology alliances, consortiums and advisory committees for 5G initiatives to include Smart City, Smart Building, Connected Car, IoT and UAS. Kurt’s previous companies include NEC, technology startups and a 30 year active and reserve duty career as a US Navy officer serving in numerous global assignments.
Kurt Schaubach brings 25 years of wireless industry experience to Federated Wireless where he plays a key role in developing technologies and new business strategies to create the next-generation architecture of broadband wireless. Previously, Kurt served in various engineering roles at the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), NextWave Wireless, LCC International, and Southwestern Bell. He has also served as a technology consultant to wireless network operators, equipment manufacturers, and semiconductor suppliers. Kurt has been active in spectrum development, management, and policy matters throughout his career. He currently serves on the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) and has spoken at the International Symposium on Advanced Radio Technologies (ISART) events, among many others.
Jennifer McCarthy is responsible for the company’s regulatory and government affairs agenda. Jennifer is a telecommunications regulatory attorney with over 25 years of experience in the wireless sector having held a variety of government affairs, business development, and operations positions for several of the industry’s leading technology innovators.
Most recently, Jennifer was with MVP Capital, working with wireless spectrum license holders, TV and radio station owners, and other online content service providers on a variety of M&A projects. Prior to that, Jennifer was Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Operations for NextWave Wireless Inc. and part of the executive management team of MediaFLO USA Inc., a subsidiary of QUALCOMM Incorporated, where she identified, purchased, and cleared the TV Channel 55 spectrum used to deploy the nation’s first network dedicated to the reception of mobile television programming and other multimedia services. She was also the head of QUALCOMM’s international government affairs team responsible for regulatory and international trade strategy at the International Telecommunications Union and related organizations. Early in her career, she worked with Freedom Technologies, Inc., a boutique Washington, D.C.-based telecommunications consulting firm and its associated law firm.
She is a member of both the California and Washington, DC Bars.
Francois is a Senior Solutions Architect in the Red Hat’s Telco Technology Office and collaborates with telecom service providers and partners across EMEA. Passionate about security, Francois leads the NFV security domain and is the Red Hat’s technical interface to the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI). Before Red Hat, he spent more than 15 years contributing to network evolution especially towards cloud platforms.
