Gabriel leads mobile network research for Heavy Reading. He covers system architecture including RAN, core, and service-layer platforms. Key research topics include 5G, LTE Advanced, software-based mobile core, and the application of cloud technologies to mobile networking. Gabriel has more than 15 years’ experience as a mobile network analyst. Prior to joining Heavy Reading, he was Chief Analyst for Light Reading’s Insider research service; before that, he was editor of IP Wireline and Wireless Week at London's Euromoney Institutional Investor.
Hayim joined ECI, as CTO, to lead its innovation center and spearhead the efforts in the areas of NFV and SDN in 2015. Hayim is a key contributor to the company’s ELASTIC networking strategy, which bridges SDN/NFV, big data, security and cloud services with advanced networking. Hayim brings vast experience in similar positions in the telecommunications hi-tech industry, which include work at Toga Networks, Tejas and Ethos. Hayim holds a B.Sc. in computer science from the Technion and a MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Paolo is a widely recognised thought leader having spent more than 20 years in telecoms, media and technology (TMT) research. Starting as a research analyst at Ovum in 1999, Paolo went on to join IDC as research manager in 2001. In 2007 he joined CCS Insight where he worked as Vice President, Multiplay and Media until June 2018. He then founded PP Foresight and specialises in connectivity, content and changing consumer behavioural patterns across cable, telecom and online video operators. Paolo is a frequent speaker at industry events as well as providing commentary on radio and TV broadcasts. He is regularly cited in numerous key financial and trade publications.
David is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry with extensive knowledge gained from across all infrastructure technologies inducing: SDH, Wireless Access, Fixed Access, IP/MPLS, Carrier Ethernet, Optical Technologies and Network Management. He has held roles ranging from Systems Engineering, Product Strategy and Product Management through to Solutions Marketing, Customer Marketing and Product Marketing. David brings this proven combination of marketing, technology and product strategy expertise to his current role.
