Network-as-a-service (NaaS) not only represents an opportunity for communications service providers (CSPs) to enhance their network and cloud services offerings, it also translates into enhanced choice, agility and service reach for their enterprise customers.

To understand the NaaS drivers, opportunities and technical requirements, Heavy Reading and Omdia, in collaboration with Amdocs, launched three comprehensive global market surveys in the fourth quarter of 2019. These surveys were designed to collect valuable NaaS data trends and preferences from enterprises, virtual network function (VNF) vendors and CSPs from around the world.

This webinar will provide a readout of the key survey findings. Topics to be addressed include:

  • Business and technical drivers for enterprises to adopt NaaS-based services
  • Enterprise preferences for buying specific VNF-based services via a service provider portal
  • VNF vendor perception of the challenges CSPs face in monetizing NaaS services
  • VNF vendor insight into the value proposition that advanced NaaS-based capabilities such as cross-domain orchestration delivers
  • CSPs commitment to implement NaaS services
  • CSP NaaS implementation drivers and challenges
  • The criteria CSPs consider when selecting NaaS vendors
  • Tier-1 CSP NaaS use case example
