James Crawshaw, Senior Analyst – Service Provider IT and Automation, Heavy Reading

Stephen Spellicy, Vice President, Marketing & Product, Guavus

Within the universe of automation, a subset of companies is now focused on delivering unique solutions to service providers that take full advantage of the very latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The skills of highly trained network engineers are impossible to completely replicate, but data can be leveraged to reduce their workload and augment their decision making. However, there is a daunting challenge: The huge data sets that network teams collect is rapidly increasing with the emergence of IoT and 5G, and it is more and more difficult for humans to analyze using standard tools due to the multi-variant data. Furthermore, with the rapidly changing nature of these real-time systems, rule-based solutions need constant manual updates; this defeats the ROI objective in the first place. Enter AI. We describe how AI can discover and interpret the complex, subtle relationships between events and suggest next best actions. With AI, operators are empowered to run their networks more efficiently and reliably.

Join this webinar to learn:

  • How AI can be applied to improve the efficacy and automation of network operations, including fault management, network alarm management, root issue analysis, predictive maintenance and utilization prediction
  • What the ROI is for investment in AI as it relates to improved performance, cost savings and better customer experience
