5:35 PM -- Today on Contentinople:

  • ABI Research reported that the percentage of people who watch broadband video streamed through a Web browser has doubled since last year from 32 percent in 2007 to 63 percent in 2008. This includes increased demand for both short-form and long-form content.

  • Media and technology execs at Streaming Media West identify the challenges of delivering HD content online. For starters, there's the inability to control last-mile bandwidth.
