STOCKHOLM -- Wavium Technologies AB, a provider of protocol independentnetwork solutions based on wavelength switches, today announced the delivery of switching equipment toRTL Nederland Broadcast Operations B.V., a leader in TV and Radio production and broadcasting in theNetherlands. The system solution was offered in collaboration with TrueCom, Wavium’s value added resellerin the Benelux area.

RTL use the equipment for cost efficient interconnections between different production facilities at the MediaPark in Hilversum. The equipment allows RTL to reconfigure and set-up connections for any type of protocol,such as Fibre Channel, SDI and Gigabit Ethernet.
