REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Qwilt, a provider of online video delivery and open video caching solutions, announced today that mobile industry veteran, Canby Dautel, has joined as vice president of strategic mobile sales for Qwilt. In his new role, Dautel will be responsible for driving growth and adoption of Qwilt’s mobile video delivery solutions worldwide.

Dautel brings more than 26 years of successful sales leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Qwilt, Dautel led North American carrier sales for Acme Packet, a leading global provider of Voice Over IP solutions acquired by Oracle. His expertise in go-to-market strategies generated revenues in excess of $250 million for solutions deployed at companies such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless.
