Comcast Technology Solutions Names New GM for Ad Platform

DENVER, Colo. -- Comcast Technology Solutions, whose portfolio of services includes video workflow management, publication, distribution, and monetization, today announced the appointment of Richard Nunn, a digital and technology executive with more than two decades of experience, to the position of Vice President and General Manager of the companyís Ad Platform. Nunn will lead Comcast Technology Solutionsí efforts in helping simplify the complexity of the convergence of linear and non-linear content and ad delivery driving greater efficiencies and effectiveness for both advertisers and broadcasters.

Prior to joining Comcast Technology Solutions, Richard Nunn served as Chief Revenue and Operations Officer for RhythmOne, a San Francisco-based Adtech business focused on its Programmatic Ad Exchange. While at RhythmOne, Nunn guided the company to increased growth and revenue, by expanding the companyís programmatic Ad Exchange platform into 16 new markets and integrating three new acquisitions over the period. Nunnís accomplishments at RhythmOne followed two decades of digital technology leadership at companies including agencies within WPP, Publicis and Omnicom groups in various international executive positions in Europe, Asia Pacific & the US.

Building on his experience in programmatic advertising and the working of media agencies, Nunn will couple that with Comcast Technology Solutionsí deep experience and innovative cloud-based solutions to help advertisers maximize return on their assets. Comcast Technology Solutions ad platform portfolio allows advertisers to expand reach across linear and non-linear channels optimizing advertising placements wherever viewers are watching through advanced inventory management and audience segmentation tools.
