Former Bloomberg exec joins ad sales unit of Comcast.

NEW YORK -- Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, announced it has named Megan Latham as vice president, customer experience, for the company. This is a new role for Comcast Spotlight that reflects the organization’s continued commitment to positioning the customer at the forefront of its business, providing the best experience, products, results and value.

Latham, who joins the company this week, will serve as a voice and advocate for current and prospective clients, representing the customer perspective in all aspects of decision making, including business planning and product initiatives. She will also partner with leaders across the organization to spearhead new and innovative solutions to continually drive best-in-class customer experiences. Latham, who will be based in New York, will join the organization’s leadership team and report to Comcast Spotlight Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Hank Oster.

Latham brings more than 19 years of industry experience and joins Comcast Spotlight from Bloomberg. One of her distinguishing traits is a continuing focus on the value of customer experience, which has resulted in positive growth for the companies and clients with whom she has worked.

At Bloomberg, where she was most recently global head of client service and revenue operations for the organization’s Media Group, Latham helped transform the client experience by strategically identifying and enhancing areas of the business for improvement. She also previously led digital ad operations and global ad operations for Bloomberg Media Group. Before that, she worked at Time Inc. in a number of leadership roles, including senior director for ad strategy and sales planning for People.com.
