TWC Launches 'Businesslink.tv'

NEW YORK -- Time Warner Cable Business Class, a leading provider of data and video solutions for business, today announced the commercial availability of BusinessLink.tv, an IPTV service that delivers real-time, high-speed broadcast TV video service directly to the computers of its business customers in select New York and New Jersey markets.

The BusinessLink.tv service delivers high-quality news and information video programming to clients via cable modem across their enterprise LAN over IP multicast connectivity. This software-based solution runs on existing off-the-shelf hardware and standard operating systems, with minimum network resource utilization and a combined audio and video stream to ensure perfect synchronization. BusinessLink.tv complements additional commercial products and services already provided by Time Warner Cable Business Class, such as Video On Demand.
