BURBANK, Calif. -- TVN® Entertainment Corp, the world’s largest television on-demand company today announced it has entered into a long-term VOD services agreement with Fox Cable Networks. The deal provides a wide-ranging framework under which Fox can quickly launch new VOD programming services, scale its VOD volume and fast turnaround needs, and extend its offerings into new platforms and formats.

Fox can now choose from TVN’s full suite of on-demand services to enhance its own VOD offerings surrounding such core linear television brands as SPEED, National Geographic Channel, Big Ten Network and other popular networks. These services include TVN’s Emmy-nominated asset management system ADONISS™; iPRI, TVN’s tool that enables programmers like Fox to make real-time changes within its content offerings; and TVNow, TVN’s service for time-sensitive sports, primetime programming and advertising. The new agreement also contemplates Fox and TVN’s testing experimental services in the future, metadata modifications, and operator-specific or market-specific content customizations.

“We have been impressed with TVN’s service and ability to quickly innovate to support our unique business requirements,” said FCN Vice President Will Flannery, “As Fox’s business plans evolve, we anticipate that TVN will help us enhance our many VOD distributors’ market activities while also extending our core content and brands.”
