RCN Checks in Trump Hotel Deal

CHICAGO -- RCN Corporation (NASDAQ: RCNI - News), a leading provider of total communications service, today announced that it has been selected by the new Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago to provide its bundled "triple play" cable, phone and internet services for the Tower's residential condominiums and its cable video services for the hotel condominiums.

The 92-story Trump International Hotel & Tower, designed and engineered by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, has a building area of 2.6 million gross square feet and is located on the site of the former Chicago Sun-Times building. The new $740 million complex, scheduled to open in 2008, features 486 super-luxury residential condominiums, from studios to three-bedrooms, as well as up-to-five-bedroom penthouses. In addition, the Trump International Hotel has 339 Five-Star luxury condominium guest rooms, with one- and two-bedroom suites.
