PacketVideo adds two mobile industry veterans to management team

SAN DIEGO -- PacketVideo Corporation (PV) has added two mobile industry veterans to its management team.
Neil Sharma joined PV as senior vice president of Mobile Operator Strategy and he will be responsible for helping define and communicate PV’s role as a partner in mobile multimedia services to mobile operators worldwide.
He spent the last six years in Microsoft’s Digital Media Division where he was responsible for strategic partnerships with mobile operators for multimedia services. Sharma is credited with jump-starting Microsoft’s digital media presence in the mobile market with partners including Verizon and Cingular (now AT&T). Prior to Microsoft, Sharma was with InfoSpace.
Also joining the PV management team is Jeff Wright, who will serve as PV vice president of Finance. Wright has more than 25 years of broad-based financial experience including more than 22 years with Motorola/Freescale, where he oversaw finance, strategy and operations.
