NEW YORK -- Howard Stern and iN DEMAND Networks have reached an agreement to continue the Howard TV On Demand service through the end of 2010, to coincide with the conclusion of Stern’s deal with Sirius Radio. And to celebrate this occasion, digital cable’s Howard TV channel will be expanding its original programming slate. Set to debut throughout the remainder of 2008 will be seven all-new exclusive uncensored programs available only on Howard TV.
Beginning in August 2008, Howard TV will bring the world of The Howard Stern Show to life in entirely new ways with a trivia-style game show, two shows featuring the outrageous adventures of Howard Stern’s Wack Pack, exclusive behind-the-scenes access and much more.
The new originals follow on the heels of two recent wildly successful original reality series; The Miss Howard Stern Show and Bowling Beauties. Bowling Beauties, which featured sixteen bikini-clad babes competing in stiletto bowling shoes, was so enthusiastically received by the Stern audience, that a new show, Wack Pack Bowling, was born.
The Howard TV Summer/Fall 2008 line-up includes:
Wack Pack Bowling: Wack Pack Bowling is an outrageous show starring Howard Stern’s loyal crew of misfits, dubbed “The Wack Pack,” as they compete in a bowling tournament like no other. The show will be hosted by longtime popular radio talk show host Sid Rosenberg and competitors including Beetlejuice, Double A, Nicole Bass (the former world’s largest female body builder), John the Stutterer, Gay Ramon, Fred the Elephant Boy, Jeff the Drunk, Croy, Joey Boots, Yucko The Clown and Siobhan (a post-op Transsexual). In each episode, Howard TV is giving three "Super Fans" an opportunity to compete in a new multi-round trivia game for a chance to go up against longtime Howard Stern Show producer Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate and win $5,000. The first installment of this five-part series which celebrates the history of the Stern show will begin airing on Howard TV on September 4th. Five episodes.
Wack Pack at The Christy’s Farm: This is no Simple Life! Viewers will follow three Wack Pack members as they join Stern Show segment producer Richard Christy at his parent’s rural home on the farmlands of Kansas. The Wack Pack will join the Christys in their daily chores including plowing the fields, square dancing, preparing meals, and working with the numerous farm animals on the compound. Plus, they’ll join Richard and his dad as they go hunting, fishing, and much more. The show will premiere on November 6th.. Four episodes.
Killers Of Comedy On The Road: This new series will follow the goofiness and insanity of the show’s favorite comedians, some of whom work for Howard TV and others who are regular guests.
