Time Warner Cable chairman joins DTN board of directors

OMAHA, Neb. -- DTN, a leading business information services company focused on agricultural, energy and weather business markets, announced today that it has named Don Logan to the company's board of directors.

Logan currently serves as chairman of the board of Time Warner Cable after retiring in January 2006 as chairman of the Time Warner Inc.'s Media and Communications Group, where he oversaw America Online, Time Inc. Time Warner Cable and the Time Warner Book Group.

Prior to serving as chairman of Time Warner's Media & Communications Group, Logan was chairman and chief executive officer of Time Inc. -- Time Warner's publishing subsidiary, the largest magazine publisher in the world and leading direct marketer of music and videos- from 1994 to July 2002 and was its president and chief operating officer since 1992. Prior to that, Logan held various executive positions with Southern Progress Corporation, which was acquired by Time Inc. in 1985.
