Outdoor Channel renews DirecTV carriage agreement

TEMECULA, Calif. -- Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OUTD - News) today announced a multi-year distribution agreement with DIRECTV, Inc. (NASDAQ:DTV - News), which secures continued carriage of Outdoor Channel, America’s leader in outdoor TV, on the nation’s leading satellite television service provider.
“This renewal is part of our effort to renew all of Outdoor Channel’s affiliation agreements with a new rate card that includes strong incentives for broader carriage,” said Randy Brown, senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing of Outdoor Channel. “DIRECTV has been a valued partner since 2002, and we are pleased to continue our partnership to provide the best in hunting, fishing and other outdoor-related programming to viewers across the country.”
