NEW YORK -- iN DEMAND L.L.C., the nation's leading distributor of transactional programming to cable, has promoted Emilio Nunez to Senior Vice President, Movies & Original Programming, announced Michael Berman, Executive Vice President, Programming and General Counsel, to whom he will report. He is based in the company's New York headquarters.

In his new role, Mr. Nunez will oversee content acquisition, strategic planning, and scheduling for iN DEMAND's Movies On Demand (MOD) service. He will be responsible for negotiating on demand programming deals with major studios and independent suppliers, and developing new windowing models and digital distribution avenues. In addition, he is charged with managing content acquisition and scheduling for the SVOD service VutopiaSM as well as the development of original programming for transactional and free on demand platforms, including stereoscopic 3D content. He will also oversee Howard Stern's SVOD channel Howard TV On Demand.
