CTAM TeleSeminar gives digital transition advice

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) announces the 2008 CTAM TeleSeminar, The Digital Transition, to take place February 20, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. ET. This coast-to-coast event will be delivered via satellite to local chapters throughout the United States and Canada.

This interactive event features a panel of leading cable executives discussing the impact of the Digital Transition on cable companies, content providers and consumers. Attendees will come away with ideas on how to approach different consumer needs, and tips from other cable companies on how to approach the transition. The panel, moderated by Char Beales, President and CEO, CTAM, will feature:

  • Allan Horlick, President & GM, WUSA9

  • Sam Howe, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Time Warner Cable

  • Joe Rooney, Chief Marketing Officer, Cox Communications

  • Rob Stoddard, SVP Communications & Public Affairs, NCTA

In its 14th year, the TeleSeminar is available to multiple CTAM chapter locations and provides members with a cost-effective and convenient opportunity for “face-to-face” learning. The TeleSeminar has grown to be one of the largest events CTAM produces, and has attracted more than 1,000 participants in previous years.
