Mike Zeigler named Vice President of Operations for Cox Media

ATLANTA -- Cox Media, the advertising services division of Cox Communications, Inc., announced today that it has appointed Mike Zeigler to the position of vice president of operations. Zeigler will oversee all of Cox Media’s ad product fulfillment, technical infrastructure and product development activities.
“Mike’s diverse background in technology management, business development and proven execution capabilities give him a unique combination of skills necessary to lead operations at a time when the fundamental structure of the industry is changing,” said Billy Farina, senior vice president of Cox Media. “He is a critical asset to help us drive new business strategy and leverage fast changing technology in the advertising sector.”
Prior to his new position, Zeigler served as director of operations for Cox Media, where he led the company’s strategic transformation initiative including the establishment of Cox Media’s new, centralized Campaign Fulfillment Center, development of new sales channels and implementation of new client service strategies and systems. In addition to his operational leadership at Cox, Zeigler brings to the Cox Media executive team significant senior management experience with Upper Quadrant, a marketing analytics firm, and extensive consulting expertise developed in a wide range of industries including print, Internet and television media.
