ATLANTA -- The appointment of George Richter to Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Mark Bowser, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In his new role, Richter will oversee all supply chain activities including materials management, purchasing, warehouse and inventory-management and material requirement forecasting.

In making the announcement, Bowser said: “George has more than 15 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management with a proven-track record of successfully increasing profits and enhancing customer satisfaction. He will be a great addition to our team and will play a key role in continuing to position Cox as a marketplace leader.”
