Cox Arizona expands statewide high-definition channel lineup

PHOENIX -- Cox Communications is adding seven new HDTV channels to its lineup in Arizona beginning March 18. By the end of this year, Cox plans to add more HDTV channels to the Arizona lineup.
The new high definition channels in the Valley include: -- TBS HD - channel 716 -- Science Channel HD - channel 720 -- Discovery HD - channel 723 -- Golf Channel HD/Versus HD - channel 744 (for subscribers to the Sports & Information tier) -- Food Network HD - channel 746 -- Animal Planet HD - channel 757 -- History Channel HD - channel 762 "Our HDTV customers can continue to count on Cox Arizona to provide the best and most popular high definition programming," says Tammy Heitkamp, a marketing director for Cox Arizona.
