Jack Polish, Rachel Hubscher, and Courtney Wood promoted at Cox Communications

ATLANTA –- The promotion of Courtney Wood to Director of Acquisition Marketing Campaigns for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Tony Maldonado, Vice President of Acquisition and Marketing Sciences.

In her new role, Wood will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of corporate acquisition campaigns launched in Atlanta. Wood and her team will continue to focus on customer acquisitions and direct response campaigns for both residential and commercial markets.

In making the announcement, Maldonado said, “Courtney has played an instrumental role, specifically in creating Cox's direct response advertising campaigns. She has been an integral part of the strategic development and creative production for corporate acquisitions.”

Wood joined Cox in 2002 as a Manager of Retail and Affiliate Marketing. Most recently, she served as Cox's Manager of Marketing Communications Strategy. Prior to joining Cox, she served as a Senior Manager of Creative Services for Cingular Wireless.

Wood received a bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from the University of Central Florida, and she received a master's from Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga.

ATLANTA -– The promotion of Rachel Hubscher to Director of Creative Services for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Tony Maldonado, Vice President of Acquisition and Marketing Sciences.

In her new role, Hubscher will be responsible for the development of brand, positioning and competitive advertising developed in Atlanta for Cox Communications and Cox Business Services.

In making the announcement, Maldonado said, “Rachel's experience in cable and advertising gives her a unique ability to balance complex advertising needs with impactful creative ideas. Her contributions over the past five years demonstrate a proven track record of adapting to new competitive challenges and the growing demands on advertising.”

Hubscher joined Cox in 2002 as Manager of Video Advertising. Most recently she served as Manager of Branding and Advertising Strategy. Prior to joining Cox, Hubscher served as an Account Supervisor for BBDO Atlanta, where she managed advertising initiatives for clients such as Progress Energy, the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Natural Gas.

A graduate of Boston College, Hubscher holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science.

ATLANTA –- The promotion of Jack Polish to Executive Director, Financial Reporting and Compliance for Cox Communications, Inc. was announced today by William J. Fitzsimmons, Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Accounting and Financial Planning.

In his role, Polish will be responsible for the management, technical application, preparation and review of all external and internal financial reporting requirements, including oversight of Cox's accounting policies. He also will be responsible for the development, promotion and monitoring of ongoing improvements in internal control as defined by Sarbanes Oxley fundamentals.

In making the announcement, Mr. Fitzsimmons said, “Jack has been a solid member of our team and has been instrumental in helping us strengthen our balance sheet as we've transitioned from a publicly-traded company into a privately held operation. He has taken on several challenging projects and demonstrated good judgment and delivered positive results.”

Polish joined Cox in June 2003 as Director of Financial Reporting. Prior to joining Cox, he served as a Manager in the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche. Previously he worked for The Coca-Cola Company in the Accounting Research Group, and served in a similar capacity with Ryder Systems, Inc.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Polish holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
