PHILADELPHIA -- Comcast Corporation, one of the world's leading media, entertainment and communications companies, announced today it has promoted Peter Kiriacoulacos to Executive Vice President of Procurement for Comcast Cable, reporting to Dave Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Cable. Additionally, the company announced he has been appointed Senior Vice President of Procurement for NBCUniversal, reporting to Stuart Epstein, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, NBCUniversal. Marcia Haynes, who has helped build a world-class procurement operation at NBCUniversal, will continue to lead that function at NBCUniversal and will report to Mr. Kiriacoulacos. Mr. Kiriacoulacos previously served as Senior Vice President of Procurement for Comcast Cable.
As the Chief Procurement Officer of Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal, Mr. Kiriacoulacos will be responsible for the combined procurement function and will lead material and enterprise-wide capital and operating expense-based vendor negotiations, including overseeing supplier diversity initiatives, among many other areas. "Since joining Comcast, Peter has built a best-in-class procurement operation," said Mr. Scott. "He has established strong relationships in the vendor community, and his extensive experience and management skills make him the ideal leader for this combined role."
