US LEC names Tom Fabbricatore as senior VP and CIO; will oversee information systems and information technology departments

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Continuing to attract top industry talent, US LEC Corp. (Nasdaq: CLEC), a super-regional telecommunications carrier providing integrated voice, data and Internet services to businesses, has added telecom veteran Tom Fabbricatore to its team as senior vice president and CIO. With more than two decades' experience, Fabbricatore will oversee US LEC's information systems and information technology departments. He will be a key member of US LEC's continuing effort to improve productivity and develop customer care tools.

Fabbricatore joins US LEC from CTC Communications in Boston, Massachusetts, where he served as the vice president of business operations and CIO. His career with CTC spanned more than 20 years, during which time he spent ten years in various sales-related positions before taking on responsibility for CTC's IT/IS and billing operations. Fabbricatore has extensive experience with CRM/OSS systems, and billing and web-based applications.
