"Increasing success means increasing opportunity," said Aaron Cowell, president and CEO of US LEC. "With over 11 thousand customers and an outstanding reputation for providing reliable service, these newest team members bring levels of expertise and a knowledge of their local markets to leverage our current success and ensure that US LEC continues the commitment of being the premier communications partner for businesses."

  • Heading up US LEC's market in Philadelphia is Kenneth Green, vice president of sales. Green has spent more than 20 years in the telecom industry in Philadelphia holding leadership positions. During this time he was instrumental in building sales and operations groups from the ground up, consistently increased his sales revenues by large percentages, and held a position among the area's top sales performers.

  • Christopher Teets is serving as the regional vice president of sales for US LEC in Atlanta. He has 15 years of telecom leadership experience in Atlanta, where he consistently implemented programs that substantially increased sales revenues and reduced customer churn by double-digit percentages.

  • Randy Reynolds is leading US LEC's team in New Orleans as the new director of sales. Reynolds has more than 20 years of telecom experience managing sales primarily in New Orleans. During this time he built and grew a large sales and service force, opened the Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast region markets, and secured a number of large accounts.

  • Michael Board has joined US LEC's Tampa team as a sales manager. His 15 years of telecom experience comes from various leadership positions in the South Florida market. He has managed large accounts and has a proven ability to grow revenue significantly. He ranked in the top three sales managers for this area in 2001, and is skilled at maintaining a tenured sales force.

Cowell continued, "Quite simply, great sales people want to work for a company that meets its commitments to customers. US LEC's ability to attract seasoned telecom professionals is a result of our reputation as a customer- oriented carrier. We are consistently adding customers to our high-capacity network, and due to our team's commitment to customer care, we are keeping those customers year after year."
