That's UMPC for short. Groan. Another dreadful acronym to deal with in an industry that is littered with 'em.
I mean, I know Redmond had to call these devices something other than Tablet PC -- that would have been the kiss of death. But why go with UMPC? It sounds like an unmentionable condition you might have to ask a doctor for some ointment to treat. — Dan Jones, Site Editor, Unstrung
