PEMBROKE, Bermuda -- Tyco International Ltd. today announced that it intends to delist Tyco common shares from the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and from trading on the London Stock Exchange plc, effective from close of business on December 12, 2003.

This action is being taken due to the low trading volume of Tyco shares on the London Stock Exchange and the costs associated with the maintenance of the London listing. Tyco common shares will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
